At Amazon Valley Academy, our Early Childhood Education program is designed to nurture and develop young learners in a holistic way, preparing them for a lifetime of learning and growth. We focus on a variety of essential skills that form the foundation of their academic journey.

Educational Approach and Methodology

Through engaging activities and play, our students develop fine motor skills, essential for writing, drawing, and performing everyday tasks with precision and confidence. Our program incorporates numerous hands-on learning experiences that help children build social and cognitive skills as they interact with peers and explore new concepts.

A key focus is on literacy development, introducing students to the alphabet and phonics, guiding them as they learn to recognize letters and their corresponding sounds. This early exposure to reading fundamentals lays the foundation for strong language skills as they progress.

In Mathematics, young learners are introduced to basic concepts such as numbers, shapes, and patterns, fostering logical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for their future education.

Our program also includes Bible classes, where children learn about God’s creation and foundational biblical stories. This nurturing environment helps instill values of love, kindness, and respect, essential as they grow into thoughtful and caring individuals.

Social Studies and Science lessons help children understand the world around them — learning about the environment, the community, and diverse cultures. These subjects encourage curiosity, wonder, and the ability to think critically about their surroundings.

Schedule and Age Range

Grade Levels:

• K3: 3 years old
• K4: 4 years old
• K5: 5 years old

School Hours:

Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with recess time, outdoor play, and activities.

School Year:

Follows the United States academic calendar, from August to June.
